sarapiqui

My first week of work in Sarapiqui, a few hours from San Jose, involved working with local kids, painting, playing soccer, white water rafting, horseback riding through the jungle, rappeling, zip lining over the rainforest canopy, community service... here are some photos.

With a few days free, I headed south to Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean with a some new friends...

Costa Ricans say this in regards to everything. "How are you?" Pura vida! "What's new?" Pura vida! "I have a headache" Pura vida! They are happy people.
