Jonah Slavin, 3, plays on a slide as his mother Karen watches at their home in Woodstock. In December 2010, Jonah was thought to have been on the autism spectrum, but after seeking a second opinion and a change in diet, his behavior has improved dramatically.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one in 110 children are on the autism spectrum, but estimates range from one in 80 to one in 240.
