Vietnam- frenetic, diverse, historical, thriving. Here's a quick look from my lens

Pho time
Pho ba- essentially rice vermicelli, beef, broth and greens.
Army museum in Hanoi
The guillotine at the 'Hanoi Hilton'
Heavily slanted exhibits
The former jail, in the center of town.
Lenin Park
Rush hour is crazy in Hanoi. Actually anytime is. So many motorbikes!
Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum. He is embalmed and on view most days, aside from when he is in Russia for 'retouching.'
Every night at 9pm rain or shine, there is a changing of the flag. Says a Vietnamese friend, "without the flag, we do not exist."

Cheers to Hanoi!
